My 12 Letters of Christmas!

This is one of the best gifts I received for Christmas!

Well, thanks much to my 12 nakees who gave these.

(So touching and encouraging, really made my heart cry and smile. Hindi
pa naman siguro ganoon ka-late to blog this one!hihihi)

I'll share some of their lines/notes in their letters that I liked most.

Cge, i'll try to answer =)

Catherine: "Wala jud ko nagsisi na ikaw akong naging discipler. Wala pud ko nagsisi na nagpadayon ko. Thank you for holding me tight. Thank you for being an angel and my 'John the Baptist'."

Mommyding says: I also don't have regrets nakee when you became my disciple. God orchestrated everything, I know He gave you to me. Yup, serving the Lord is the most beautiful thing in the world---kaya walang dapat pagsisihan at panghinayangan. (LUGI ANG MUUNDANG!) =)
Charmaine May: "Happy jud ko mami kay part na ko sa imong 12 and close cell. Super welcome kaayo ko sa inyo and I felt more special then."

Mommyding says: You're already special because you are God's princess, nakee. But you became MORE special because you said 'yes' in the Vision and decided to become part of somebody's 12 (si liz before, ako ngayon.hehe) And this is now your turn to find your own 12 princesses, you mold and disciple them by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. =)

Christine: "I am always overwhelmed everytime I learn something new about you. And I really didn't expect that we have come this far and will be going farther as I follow you in the vision."

Mommyding says: Weeeh! I was wondering what are those new things you've learned about me? But yeah, that is discipleship! I'm getting to know more about my 12--personalities, characters, likes and dislikes. And you get to know more about your leader (me!hehe) as well. I know, dili tanan 'nindot' imong madiscover about sa ako, that's why I need you also to "sharpen" me in as much as I sharpen you as my disciple para mugawas na ang Christ-like character. Proverbs 13:20 says, "He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm." Uban-uban lang jud ta ani pirmi ding---even to the farthest pa jud!!!

Donna Rose: "A boom--a great explosion will really happen next year. And I want myself to be part of it. I look forward for a fruitful, productive, great year with you."

Mommyding says: Me too, nakee! I need captains---God's captains in order for me/ us to win this battle. I believe we are history makers and when that "boom/explosion" happens, I'm sure your name is listed as part of that history. I remembered a quote from Pator Lagat which says, "if you will not join us today, you will only read about us tomorrow." Ayaw ug sugot na igo na lang ka mubasa/ musulti na "I was once part of that (hinayang mode)." BE THERE WHEN IT HAPPENS! =)

Jasmen Ezra: "Thank you kasi andyan ka parati kahit napapagod ka na. Thank you sa mga payo, sa mga prayers, sa mga corrections at sa marami pang bagay."

Momyding says: What if Jesus stopped loving and discipling His disciples because they were doubtful, fearful, and disloyal to Him? If ako toh, dili cguro nako kayanon. But there's this word GRACE...yeah, grace. This is the reason why maski na kapoi na pd jd usahay, pero joyful pa man gihapon ipadayon. This has been given to me freely, so you deserved to have this for free as well (thanks to the Blood of the Lamb!)
Janie Vieve: "You are one of my inspirations to continue...Thank you for the prayers, happy ko kaayo kay nakabalik na ko."
Mommyding says: True enough, God is the God of second chance, nakee. If we'll read the Bible, daghan sad ang niundang/ nahimong disloyal/nakasala kay God and Jesus pero gihatagan ug chance para makabalik (e.g. Israelites, David, Peter, etc). And when they turned from their sinful ways and nagrepent, MAS POWER sila pagkagamit kay Lord! I believe ikaw sad. Be strong and courageous, your multitudes are coming. =)
Kean Portia: "Mee, I can still remember the day that we first met (Sa EBL dorm, kubo, ikaw ang nagevangelized sa amua). I'm sooo blessed that day coz I have received Jesus as my Lord and Savior.

Mommyding says: Yeah!! I do remember that day sad, nakee...Grabe jud si Lord ka-faithful. I just obeyed Him to share His word (to you and your group) and here you are..gihimo ka Niyang part sa akong beautiful LHH. WOAH! Mao jud ni ang makapa-amazed sa akoa! Thank you for not letting those seeds (that had been planted in your heart=God's word=Salvation) die. You responded in the Vision and submitted yourself for discipleship. Indeed, you are growing in His love, grace and mercy!

Kiara Rina: "Mee, I am very thankful kay Lord that He is helping me believe in you more and love you more. Mee dili ko musugot na diha lang ka kutob. I hope for you to excel more and more and more."

Mommyding says: I could relate John Maxwell's "Law of the Lid" with this line. Dili jud ko pwede na dinhi lng ko taman kay dinha lang pud jud mo taman (sabutabol man noh? hehehe) I should **always** go up higher and higher and higher para makasaka pud mo. That's why i sooo love the word EXCELLENCE (i guess, tanan LHH ganahan ani na word.haha) Thanks for dreaming with me that I'll excel in everything. Cge lang, kay kung unsa ang puno...mao man sad ang bunga =)

Marie Analiz April: "I admire you and soon, as I become a mother of twelve (AMEN!), I want to be like you (pero second-second lang kay Jesus Nay. hehe ^__^)

Mommyding says: Hahaha. Good thing, giklaro nimo nakee na second lang ko kay Jesus. He is my model man pud jd coz "I'm an imitator of Christ!" But you know what? Lami kaau sa feeling when you are being admired by your disciples **pwede ma-shy** hehehe. Mao gani ginasundog. hehehe. Thanks much nakee. Soon, you'll have your own twelve, for sure mu-admire sad to sila sa imuha. =)

Mari Joy: "You are one great spiritual mother. I like it when you discipline us which just shows how much you really love us."

Mommyding says: Makalingaw. Dili man gud tanang tao ganahan ug disiplina. Pero ikaw, you like! hehehe. K lang yan, duha na ta. Prov.10:17 - He who heeds discipline shows the way to life, but whoever ignores correction leads others astray. So I'd rather be ginadisiplina sa akong parents/ discipler/ leaders kesa wala coz if not, I'll be leading you astray. ayayayayay! Another thing, from this discipline, we will gain knowledge and understanding. Mao lagi nang: If you want disciples, be disciplined first! =)

Ross Fievanni: "Sorry pud jud mee sa times na pasaway jud ko. Bu you have taught me how to humble myself and see those mistakes na karon ginaisa-isa na nako ug change."

Mommyding says: Proverbs 18:12- The fear of the Lord teaches a man wisdom, but HUMILITY comes before honor. Thanks for your humility nakee. It's one of your characters that I admired most. You're not making it too diffifucult for me to discipline you coz naga-humble down ka dayon, easily makalearn sa imo mistakes and pareha sa imong ginaingon, imong ginachange. You will be honored because of this. **Magpa-renew lang always kay Lord, both mind and heart!** =)

Ruby Felicia: "Musabay jud ko sa imu Nay in our walk with God. Whatever happens, all the way na ni."

Mommyding says: Sabay jud ta ani,nakee... LHH gud! Laging Holding Hands. The paths that we will take may not be easy but as long as God is with us and you (my girls!) are with me, kayang-kaya ang journey. You're right, whatever happens, our hands will always hold together...ALL THE WAY! =)

Weeh! These are more than "love letters", nakees. Thank you for sharing your life with me. Hanggang sa muling letter giving!
Sobrang masaya,

Pink and Purple Mornings

Devotional time nah!

These things plus the Lord's sweet, sweet presence makes
me so alive and excited each time I wake up every morning.
You might say, "so girly-na-girly naman niyan!"
But I say, "neh..it's princess-na-princess lang talaga." =)
Since I am part of a royal lineage and my Father is a King,
i-totodo ko nah! heheheheh.

But wait, something so important is missing...

ahh..my yellow and orange Bible...I can't live without this Book!
Why orange? I dunno. I just fell in love with the cross
at its center when I first laid my eyes on it. It reminds me of my
of my One True Love and everything He has done for me
on that Cross. His LOVE is so beautiful! Weeeeh!
(but actually, I bought my bible a year ago and the purple and
pink things were just given to me recently--except my journal)

This blog entry reminds us of two things:

First, we should wake up each morning and do our devotional time.
Leviticus 6:12 says, " The fire on the altar must be kept burning, it must not go out.
EVERY MORNING, the priest is to add firewood and arrange the burnt offering
on the fire and burn the fat of the fellowship offerings on it."
So, let us keep the fire burning by adding firewood (yup2x! daily devotionals po iyan..)

Second, we must be very creative and unique especially on things that the Lord is involved with. (meron pa bang things na hindi involve si Lord? I guess wala na!)
Invest on it and make it beautiful. Believe me, it is so encouraging to wake up
and see those beautiful things ready to be used and be filled-in by Him and for Him.

See you sa "bukid" everyone!

Special thanks to:
** Momidebz, for the purple pouch and purple pen...
my pasalubong from Manila (G12 Conference)
** Jennelle Rizza, for the (key chain) cutee pink teddy bear!
** Myself? nyahaha! for the pink notebook and orange Bible
(Bitaw Lord uy, thank You for teaching me how to invest on level-up things!)
It's all worth it!

My December 08, 2009 message from God's Word says:

"...for all Israel knows that your father (David) is a fighter and that those

WOW! this is sooo good. The Lord is telling me that I'm a fighter and I can fight [harder]
for I have my beautiful, brave girls backing me up! (diba girls?hehe)
**oh so thank You for their lives, Lord!**

Wait. Let me introduce them here first =)

I'll Choose to Wait

It is strange. The years teach us patience...
that the shorter our time, the greater our capacity for waiting.

Whatever we are waiting for--peace of mind, contentment, grace,
the inner awareness of simple abundance--it will surely come to us,
but only when we are ready to receive it with an open and grateful heart.

I will be strong.
I will take heart.
I will wait for the Lord.

The Art Of Letting Go

There comes a point and time in everyone's life when they need to let go. It's easier said than done, and even when most recognize the need to let go they can't do it.

Letting go is about freedom; freedom that can only be experienced through the disconnection of the things - or the person - that cause the mental imprisonment. It's about clearing a path that will take you from where you've been, to where you want to go. It's about stepping out of the shadows of not-so-good-experiences and emerging as a victor. It's about having more of you to offer, and offering more of yourself to love.

Yesterday does hold lessons. Before you can move on from anything or anyone, you must first truly embrace the reality of where you are and how you got there. Was it due to poor judgment? Bad decisions? Impulsiveness? Personal or professional growth? Shift in values? Was it an unhealthy or unproductive relationship? A non-reciprocal friendship? Whatever the case, it's imperative that you know where you are so that you can avoid a return trip to this place of adversity in the future.

When a habit or association imprisons you to an undesirable fate, or clouds the brightness of your present and future, it's time to let go. Your motivation to do so is directly correlated with your desire to be free; free from the adverse conditions that your choices have, or will create. Letting go is a challenge, but it's always a choice.

Hi ding!

I'll share to you an excerpt from the Bible.
Cge lang, dili man pud ni wali. hehe

John 13 (Jesus Washed The Feet of His Disciples)

verse 5: After that, He poured water into a basin and began
to wash His disciple's feet, drying them with the towel
that was wrapped around Him.

verse 6: He came to Simon Peter who said, "Lord, are
You going to wash my feet?"

verse 7: Jesus replied, "You do not realized now what I
am doing, but later you will understand."

verse 8: "No," said Peter, "You shall never wash my feet."
Jesus answered, "Unless I wash you, you have no part with me."

My message:

I really thanked the Lord for making you as part of my twelve.
You just don't know how the Lord sharpened my life
and leadership through your lives
(with ezra and marj as gi-seed up)
Thank you also for letting me disciple you and
wash your feet like Jesus did to His disciples!
Naa dinha ang pagserve, love, care etc.
And as we know, naa pud sa washing ang mga corrections
na at times we don't want to hear.
Maybe you do not realized yet what I'm doing as a discipler
but pareho sa answer ni Jesus: Later you will understand.
[Unless I wash you, you have no part with me]
And I am so excited to see you doing the same thing
--washing the feet (and be a servant leader!) of your future disciples.
Though it's not that easy but God is there..add mo pa ako
and your spiritual sissies! We'll together run this race.
Oie, coming na sila (your multitudes!) pangandam nah! =)

**Dings, you are loved. You are special.**
Happy Happy Birthday!

Lovelots,
Mamee Bek

As for me and my blogs, we will serve the Lord!

I'm still a 2-month old baby here in the world of blogging but im sooooo in to it! It's fun reflecting, contemplating and writing all of the things running through my mind. For me, some of its benefits are: meeting wonderful people (Though sometimes i only ever know them in the digital world, but that's ok); It also causes me to reflect on my life as a whole.;I can look back and say, “Wow, I did that?” Or, “What was I thinking?" Haha. But the best of all is when people get to browse my online journal and they feel blessed.

hhhhmmmm....

Wait. Let me share about this first.

Luke 6:45 - The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. FOR OUT OF THE OVERFLOW OF HIS HEART HIS MOUTH SPEAKS. hhhmmm....Familiar? Para sa mga bcc peepz, super familiar na ta ani! Our dear pastor ruffy is preaching about this for 3 consecutive sunday services. I've learned about the great power of the mind, the need to guard and manage it (aka heart)--Prov.4:23, and of course it's constant renewal through the blood of Jesus.

I love reading other people's blogs---mga kakilala and not even a kakilala. Hindi naman sa usyosera whatever ako (haha!) but I just want to know what's on their mind (parang facebook?!) and guess what? I even found some blogs of the artista. Yup2x! Some blogs are so interesting and inspiring (nakakablessed talaga) but there are some na ginawang expression of hurts, pains, rejections and hatred (sad...need jud magencounter!) Blogging??? sus, Luke 6:45 jud ni ba. And that is when I've made a commitment to make blog entries that will serve as a channel of blessing gyud to other people by God's grace. Through this, they'll get to know more of our Father--everything about His greatness, goodness and His loving kindness! Yeah, more of Him and less of me =)

Kaya nga I'm (and still!) more inspired to do this thingy. Oh, have I mentioned that I want my future generation to be blessed as well when they read my blogs? (Yup, kayo 'yan my future children and my future grandchildren!) I promise not to delete any of my entries for them to read how God blessed me as a single and pati na rin sa POST-SINGLE life!! Hehehe =)

Weeehh!! Blogging is fun! Especially when it is dedicated to the Lord---the original Blogger! (official blogsite: The Bible)

AS FOR ME AND MY BLOGS, WE WILL SERVE THE LORD!

p.s. I've made another blog account diay [Rebekah's Daily Dwellings By the Well; www.mywellwishes.blogspot.com] kaya lang naka **private mode** haha. And if you're given the chance to view it (if you may ask) magbunyi ka!! CLOSE TAYO! =)

The Wedding Ring

Why should the wedding ring be worn on the fourth finger?

There is a beautiful and convincing explanation given by the Chinese.

Thumb represents your -- Parents
Second (Index) finger represents your Siblings
Middle finger represents your Self
Fourth (Ring) finger represents your Life Partner
& Last (Little) finger represents your Children

Firstly, open your palms (facing together), bend the middle fingers and hold them together - back to back
Secondly, open and hold the remaining three fingers and the thumb - tip to tip
(As shown in the figure Above)

Now, try to Separate your Thumbs (representing the parents)..., they will open, because your parents are not destined to live with you lifelong and have to leave you sooner or later.

Please join your thumbs as before and separate your Index fingers (representing siblings). They will also open, because your brothers and sisters will have their own families and will have to lead their own separate lives.

Now join the Index fingers and separate your Little fingers (representing your children). They will open too, because the children also will get married and settle down on their own some day.

Finally, join your Little fingers, and try to separate your Ring fingers (representing your spouse).
You will be surprised to see that you just CAN NOT.

Because Husband &Wife have to remain together all their lives ---through thick and thin!

ISN'T THIS A LOVELY EXPLANATION?

To meet and part is the way of life.
To part and meet is the hope of life.

*got from jm flores =)

Baby Seth Turns 1! =)

My Pamangkin.
My Palangga.
My Baby Seth.

How Great Is Our God

HOW GREAT IS OUR GOD
by Louie Giglio

(i am inspired by this message. feel free to read it!)

Your life is a miracle, and the creator of the universe knows you by name!

He's big enough to breathe out stars, yet intricate enough to fashion together the trillions of cells that make up every facet of who you are. The God who spoke the universe into existence made you, too, and knows everything about you. From the smallest molecule to the situation you find yourself in right now, He's aware of your circumstances and intimately acquainted with everything you do. And He cares about you and promises to carry you through.

That's where we find hope in the midst of the darkest places in life. The journey often complicated and painful, filled with confusion and chaos. Yet, the cross of Christ reveals God's promise to preserve and restore you no matter what the circumstance. He will hold onto you and hold you together, giving strength to those who hope in His unfailing love.

He is the everlasting God!

About the author: Giglio was born in 1958 and grew up in a Christian home in Atlanta, Georgia. One morning at 2 AM during his freshman year at Georgia State University in 1977, he decided to follow Christ instead of the party life. That conscious decision led him to become one of the architects of the modern worship style geared towards young people with its emphasis on informal attire, expressive worship and low-key, visually driven sermons.

His ministry is based on Isaiah 26:8 - "Yes, LORD, walking in the way of your laws, we wait for you; your name and renown are the desire of our hearts" (from the New International Version).

Fyut and Tyur!

** This entry is dedicated to Armie Love aka fyut, my 5-days-in-a-row-buddy2x last week. We printed application letters and CVs, dated in a coffee shop, planned for the future (ai, October Big event diay sa YR. hehe) laughed together, reminisced the past, teased one another (uuuuyyy), fished, naglakaw2x sa dakbayan sa dabaw (kay nangapply man), window shopped (girls will always be girls!) etc2x. Whew! Purely sissie bonding--and t'was fun!

I've read a quote which says, "There's a special kind of freedom spiritual sisters enjoy. Freedom to share innermost thoughts, to ask a favor, to show their true feelings, and the freedom to simply be themselves." I totally agree! I'm so blessed to have her with my 10 other spiritual sissies (ate karen, ate rose, frolaine, darling, rosalie, haide, kristel, jessel, jennelle and rose ann---cge lang mga terz, i'll write a blog next time na kamo na pud ang bida!)

Allow me to share some facts about fyut and tyur.

** We knew each other since elementary. We were churchmates---classmates sa sunday school to be specific.

** We became good friends when we entered the tambourine ministry with Yvette and Aleli, 13 years ago ( groupname: Magic Girls)

** We (the four of us) used to sleep sa church before every saturday night in preparation for the sunday service the next day (nagasayaw mi tambourine!), sabay matulog (kadlawon na, cge sturya2x ug crush2x. hahaha!) sabay mukaon, maligo, mag-ilis. Hahaiz..mga bata talaga!

** We went to different youth camps in different places in Mindanao. crush2x na pud! tsk3x. Haha.

** We were school mates in Davao City Nat'l High School (She was a rover scout, i was a girl scout..laging handa!)

** Then the G12 vision came. We became spiritual sissies under the leadership of our beloved mother hija, Ms. Deborah Tutor (2004).

** We both went to high and low (lowest!) points of our leadership, but we lingered. Our relationship was tested but we learned to forgive each other.

** 5 years had passed and we're still glued together. We're persisting in the vision, overcoming struggles, enduring hardships, hanging on to God's promises, dreaming bigger things and enjoying discipleship!

** And Why do we call ourselves as fyut and tyur? haha. that is pertaining to a FUTURE---a very bright future with the Lord which includes our future 144, 1728, multitudes, ministry, work, business, husband (woohoo!) and family.

PROVERBS 18: 24- A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

For the multitudes and for the
future!

Purple Butterfly

Fascinating.
How can you be so beautiful?
Ah--yes.You've changed.
So admirable.
But it's time to fly now
and leave your sweet cocoon.
Have to kiss those colorful flowers
and say hello to the busy bees.
but please
take a rest with nature's tall trees.
Go on and fly away.
And as you rise in the air,
hear this echo from afar...
"You are loved...You are loved."

p.s. a well-watered garden awaits you. please return soon.

I shed tears. He shed blood.

I shed tears when I thought what I did was right.

Only to know that it was done by my own might.

I shed tears when things suddenly went wrong.

How will I mend it? Just thinking all day long.

I shed tears when I’m in my utmost point of desperation,

Don’t know where to run, don’t even know how to get my portion.

I shed tears when my dreams were stolen, and broken into pieces.

My heart is torn, an anxious feeling inside of me never ceases.

I shed tears when it seems all hope is gone.

There’s a deep emptiness, I felt so undone.

I shed tears when I couldn’t get the answers to all of these.

I cannot see the reason; Lord will You help me please?

Then TRUTH came, consumed me and it shed light

Taught me to stand up, move forward and uphold the fight

This truth took me to a special place, where I found freedom, peace and salvation

There Jesus bled and died for me, on that cross I saw it washed my imperfections

He shed blood to open up my eyes and see

That I am His best and faith has made it easy

He shed blood to cancel my mind’s negative arguments

He renewed my identity, gave me love that was really truly meant.

He shed blood to restore my cherished godly dreams

Gave me strength and hope to pursue every visionary scheme

Oh Jesus, thank You for all You have done!

That each time I shed tears, I’m reminded that I’m Your precious one.

no one else knows

NO ONE ELSE KNOWS
by Building 429

My world is closing in
On the inside
But I’m not showing it
When all I am is crying out
I hold it in and fake a smile
Still I’m broken
I’m broken
Only one can understand
And only one can hold the hand
Of the broken
Of the broken

When no one else knows how I feel
Your love for me is proven real
When no one else cares where I’ve been
You run to me with outstretched hands
And You hold me in your arms
Again

I need no explanation of why me
I just need confirmation
Only You could understand the
emptiness inside my head
I am falling
I am falling
I’m falling down upon my knees
To find the one who gives me peace
I am flying
Lord I am flying

When no one else knows how I feel
Your love for me is proven real
When no one else cares where I’ve been
You run to me with outstretched hands
And You hold me in Your arms
Again

I have come to you in search of faith
Cause I can’t see beyond this place
Oh You are God and I am man
So I’ll leave it in Your hands

At The Cross

THERE'S NO GREATER LOVE THAN THIS! =)
