Immeasurable Imaginations
Much to my surprise, the great American physicist Albert Einstein and I had the same understanding of what an Imagination is. He once quoted, "Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming attractions." How can I disagree?
November 3, 2005. This was the exact date I wrote "My covenant with God" inside an 11-year old diary---'di pa kasi uso ang mga book of dreams noon! Woah. I finally found it after 4 long years! I almost forgot that my written aspirations were here, all of my dreams which I even held so dear. After reading and reviewing everything, I asked "oh my good Lord, how could You be so faithful--when I'm not? How ccould you be so true to Your promises while here I am, can't even count how many promises I have broken?" Tears flowed through my eyes. Sobbed.
November 3, 2005 entry to my diary:
"I am a new person now. I am loved by God, my family, and friends. I am a leader, I am a servant. I am God's daughter." --can't remember so well, but I guess this was after the Encounter. Yes, my personal encounter with Him.
Then from a separate, folded paper stapled on the same page had a note "My covenant with God."
* March 2007 - Graduate in College
* May 15, 2007 - I'll be 21!
* December 2007 - Take the board exam---RN in just one take.
* Between ages 22 and 23 - Open cell and will find my close cell.
* 24 years old (year 2010) - I'll have my complete 12--fruit of the Spirit.
* 25-27 years old - I will go to another country.
* 28 years old - be married
Then there's a verse at the bottom part: Jeremiah 29:11 - For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and future.
My God is awesome!
* I was able to graduate from college last March 2007 with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
* 21 years old? I'm already 23---turning 24! Added years in my life are God's demonstration of His love and faithfulness to me. =)
* I took the Nursing Licensure Exam (NLE) last December 1 and 2, 2007. The result was released 2 months after, RN na daw ako! To God be the glory!
* I already found my 12 beautiful, faithful, submissive hijas---without Him, finding and building them are meaningless, personal efforts are in vain.
* as I've mentioned, I'll be turning 24 this May. After 12, 144 na naman! We're actually planning to have a joint birthday party and conquest/ 144's night on the 15th of the said month. Theme: doce double up = 24! *excited-to-the-highest-level*
* I wondered why I only wrote "I will go to another country" within the 25th-27th years of my existence, without any details "mag-unsa man ko didto?" hahaha. This one is vague, huh? But really, in this dream, the Lord [once again] did not fail me. In fact, He gave it to me in advance! (Uumm..advanced for me because I asked for it when I reach 25 pa. But for the Lord,? I'm sure, right time lang jud to pagkahatag!) Exactly 2 months after my 22nd birthday, I found myself walking on the streets of Singapura and Kampuchea! It was a humbling experience for me---a meaningful event wherein we were given the chance to serve God's people in Phnom Penh through medical mission and kid's ministry with evangelism. And guess what? Sunod-sunod na 'to! Amen...amen...amen!!
* Lastly, my dream when I reach 28. Uuummm...Wait lang ha. Double check ko lang. Did I actually wrote this?? Naks naman bek, ang tagal mo na pala 'tong pinagplanuhan! BLUSHING. Hahaha. Anyway, there are no signs pa naman of having it in advance (nyahaha!) But I trust the Lord and His wonderful plans for me. He's never too early nor too late--He's always right on time! =)
But are these things enough? Lord, are these dreams enough for You?

But are these things enough? Lord, are these dreams enough for You?
Ephesians 3:20 and 21 says, "Now to Him (God) Who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen." -from my devo last Wednesday, Jan.27, 2010.
The Lord spoke to me through these verses. "Rebekah, if you can still name and count your dreams, that is not enough. If you can still imagine and envision them right now---again, it is not yet enough. My plans are far more GREATER than the things you could imagine. These things are far more beyond your heart could ever dream of. For these are uncountable, it is immeasurable."
WOW! Those are God's jaw-dropping lines for me! Exceedingly awed. Whew, I'm amazed until now.
When will I get to see those things, Abba Father? Hahaha. Funny me. Pag si Lord ang kausap ko, napapaisip at napapa-reflect talaga ako. But henceforth, I will wait. I will never stop imagining, dreaming and then writing them in my book of dreams. I will never unplug the power of envisioning God's immeasurable plans for me until it is conceived in my heart and it'll be seen by my two very eyes.
I will imagine. I will believe. I will achieve.

Happy 18th Birthday, Princess Kean!
Happy Debutdei ['deybyoodei]
haha, making my own term again, nakee! =)
Debut: [n] the act of beginning something new;
[v] appear for the first time in public.
Well, this day may not be your first appearance in public--haha! But sure enough,
this day is very significant for you because it's the beginning of something new.
New reachable goals, cherished desires, crystal clear dreams,
and yes--from youngish seventeen to a refined but still sweet eighteen.
And because it's your 18th birthday, I have compiled 18 wise nuggets for
you to chew and meditate upon. Some are borrowed from king Solomon's words of
wisdom, the book of Proverbs. Some are from well-known authors and unknown ones. From different personalities (well, honestly..I do not know some of them but their words
are really, really, really wise!) and from uhh----me. Yours truly.
