See you soon, SPLENDID SURIGAO!

It has always been my dream to go to Surigao and visit the jaw-dropping Enchanted river and the ever marvelous Tinuy-an Falls. I've been seeing pictures and websites which describe these beautiful spots----and I never failed to say my "breath prayers" each time I browse them. Indeed, God is in the business of fulfilling dreams and desires!

The Good news.

Just this Monday, I was told by Ms. Rizza (After Sales Officer) that DOLE-STANFILCO is requesting the Medical Department to accompany them in scouting hospitals for provider accreditation in Surigao area on the 2nd week of August. Guess what? I VOLUNTEERED---without having second thoughts! Hahaha! I cant imagine how BIG my eyes were when I heard about this work-slash-goodnews-slash- answered prayer! Woohoo!

TO TRAVEL IS TO WORK.....IS TO PLAY! =)

I'm so blessed to have this kind of work. Traveling is the nature of it---akong ampaaay! =) Don't worry my dearly beloved Maxicare, I'll be working within the given hours that I should work. You Cannot Give Birth Until You Conceive

The process of pregnancy is very similar to holding and living out a dream. A creative idea, a dream, or vision formed or imagined in the mind is like a baby conceived in a woman's womb. It is planted as a seed in the heart or spirit of an individual, who goes through a season of pregnancy, labor, and eventual birth. But you're never too young or too old to dream big dreams (see Acts 2:17). You're never the wrong sex or race. The amount of money or education you have doesn't matter. All that matters is your willingness to dream big dreams, to depend on a big God Who loves you and wants to see you do great things in life, and to press past all opposition. Many of the ideas and dreams we have in our hearts reveal the purpose of God for our lives. We sense or feel things, we desire to do things, and it is God's way of showing us our purpose. It is possible to have desires that are not God's will, but if that is the case, He will show you the truth if you're willing to be corrected. Be the kind of person who only wants what God wants, and you won't get into much trouble. I have made mistakes in my life by thinking something I wanted was God's will for my life only to discover my motives were all wrong. God gently corrected me and got me back on the right path, and He will do the same thing for you.

CONCEIVE YOUR DREAMS!

A Hole in The Heart?

Medical embryology labels it patent ductus. Every fetus carries a hole in its heart that allows blood from the maternal blood system to oxygenate the child in the womb. Then a natural marvel happens. At birth the hole becomes fixed as external oxygen hits the lungs. If it does not close, it is called patent ductus or “open hole.” Depending on how large the hole is and where it is located, the baby may be a “blue baby”, severely underoxygenated at birth. Physicians sometimes find an unrepaired heart at puberty, or during times of stress when alerted by heart murmurs. A grade one murmur is not significant. A grade five or six measurement can be heard loudly and felt with fingers over the chest area.

The spiritual hole in the heart corresponds to the physical problem. Spiritual oxygen must hit your lungs. Life’s stresses bring on questions, murmurs, and tremors. Can you hear the murmur? Your heart calls to you to ponder its urging. Shouldn’t you get immediate assistance for your spiritual patent ductus, to close the hole? Fixing the hole in the spiritual heart thrusts one into a spiritual quest: a secret inquest, a powerful solitary pursuit.

Maybe, you’ve managed to fill the hole as best as you know how. You’ve aggressively chased a thousand things to fill it. You supposed you’ve filled it, and to some extent you have. Now, however, you’ve come to a crossroad. You want to be honest with yourself. The hole in your soul is still there, and it calls for decision and action. It refuses to wait any longer to be filled because of the mush and slush in your life. It protests your attempts to buy, talk, or work your way out of the inner mess. Your heart simply knows you too well. It calls advises you to move to a final destination, your soul seeks definite solutions.

What could it be? Or Whom could it be? The answer is this: Only Jesus can fix all kinds of heart holes. “Human fixes” cannot solve the problem and dismiss the issues of the heart. Welcoming Jesus Christ into the hole in your heart is not only reasonable, it is relevant. It is true and testable, wise and workable, verifiable and viable. Will you be reasonable and realistic, prudent and practical, in this decision for your life?

Listen to the hole in your heart, the cry of your soul.

P.S. I also had spiritual heart holes before (actually, lots of it!) but I submitted myself for spiritual transcatheter closure and ligation. Believe me, my Surgeon was the Best! He knows me well including my heart and the things that should be done with it. And until now, I still have my regular (as in daily!) check-ups with Him and it really makes my heart so healthy. So, what are you waiting for? Sa mga wala pa ka pachek-up, adto na sa Iyang clinic! It’s open 24/7. But let me remind you, HONESTY and HUMILITY is a requirement. Pride? It’s a no-no!!
