Her Name Is Fatima

I've got something in my heart.

A desire, a longing.

Part of my thinking everyday.

Yes, this is something I've been praying for.

She's Fatima.

But you might get confused, she really isn't a she nor a he.

It's actually them. Because it's a village here in Davao City.

When I'm set for work,

I usually pass by this place every morning.

My eyes were always caught up whenever I see the people living there.

And I said to the Lord, "There must be something in here..."

Little did I know, He is already conceiving

that desire in my heart---and will give birth to it SOON!

Opencells.

Community service.

Even Sunday services, apil sa plano ni Lord!

And so, one closecell meeting, I cast this vision to my girls.

I can't do it alone man gud. hehe.

I need my teammates, my spiritual family.

And they too, are so excited about the Lord's doing.

Na super lingaw gyud ko when I saw their eyes lit up

when they heard about the GOOD NEWS.

Aba, mas excited pa sila sa akoa!

Thanked God for disciples who have one heart with mine.

To my dear classmates in the world of blogging,

or even to you who just happened to sojourn awhile my blogsite,

Fatima is so full of potentials, even her name speaks more about it.

one who abstains to what is not good (will stand up for righteousness)

Please allow me to share what keeps us (Medical team) busy today in the office:

Executive officers Our bosses are asking us to give

them a study/report as to how feasible it is to accredit hospitals

in some sensitive areas in Mindanao.

Basilan.

Tawi-Tawi.

Jolo, Sulu.

Maguindanao.

Lanao del Norte.

Lanao del Sur.

Zamboanga Sibugay.

Cateel, Davao Oriental.

Bagangga, Davao Oriental.

Hoohmai.

Murag kulba ni da.

Now, we are mapping hospitals, calling them and

asking some questions for our perusal.

Sometimes we can't help but to laugh at it and

throw jokes regarding this accreditation.

"uy, basi didto na gyud ka mahalin, bek!" ingon nila.

IN JESUS NAME gyud!

Anyway, this is still subject for approval after we submit our study.

And once approved, nah, hala, adtuan gyud!

Suddenly Saddened :(

8:47 am.

I received a text message that really broke my heart.

Someone so dear to me was misled.

If only I could ask this person:

Sigh.

I can't help but cry.

Sigh.

Much more that we need Your GRACE now oh Lord.

Nevertheless, I'm still praying that He will order everything.

DOLE-STANFILCO Meeting

Last Tuesday, we had a meeting with our DOLE-STANFILCO account

in their office in Belisario Village, Davao City.

T'was attended by DOLE-HRs all over Mindanao and from our end,

we were with mga bigating people from Maxicare Head Office (Manila)

Grabeeeeh.

Pwede maluya? Hehe.

Different concerns were raised---as expected.

Good thing we (Maxi team) managed to collate all of these concerns prior to this meeting.

At least, we were kind of prepared and made sagang. Hahaha.

Sagang what?

We actually had an investigation in order to clarify what really happened

and reverted and discussed it to our client.

Question here, answer there.

Answer here, question there.

Whew!

Uuuuyy,

Thanked God for juice drinks such as this---it made us all "chill" lang

even the situation was uuurrrggghhh intense.

To sum it up, the meeting went well naman.

Queries were duly answered, issues were readily resolved.

=)

It's just that now, I feel feverish.

Went home last night super physically tired.

Siguro due to endless meetings, left and right.

I even slept at 7:30pm and woke up at 6:20am this morning.

I still have so many things to do.

I need my strength back.

Just came home from a 1-week business trip in Cagayan de Oro City and Gingoog, Mis. Or.

So that would mean:

A week of NO SHOW in the office.

Aaah...How my Maxicare family misses me. Hahaha.

But yeah, Im baaaack this day (10-17-11)

and indeed, my usual Mondays surprised me!

Our requested office supplies from the head office

for our department were already sent last week! Yeheeey!

* 30 reams of long and short bond papers

* Brand new calculator

* Ballpens, ballpens and MORE ballpens!

* Etc.

Haaaaay....salamat naman.

Nakita ug natubag ra gyud nila among need.

Wahehehe! So lipay the Medical Team.

Few minutes later, Sir Jem (my counterpart) handed me an envelope.

And when I opened it, lo and behold---our Maxicare cards are here!

Yep2x, It's a healthcare at its finest!

=)

But this day wouldn't be called a MONDAY without me being busy it's toxicity overload.

Reports.

Emails.

Phone calls.

Back to reality.

I still have to finish my post-itinerary report (CDO trip)

And answer my emails.

Busy bee, huh?

Anyway, God is still good.

I finished my tasks and accomplished my goals for this day.
