Happy Birthday Ms. Rizza!

Our dear officemate will be celebrating her
 birthday on Sunday---but here
in Maxicare, we did it in advance.

She's Ms. Rizza, our pretty and
charming After-Sales Officer. I remembered
mentioning her name in one of my blog entries here
when we both went to Tandag, Surigao city for a
business trip. Our friendship grew when we became
room mates during that 4-day trip...lingaw gyud
siya kauban sa room. So many chikas,
and she's cow girl lang, walang madaming arte.=)

And this is our way of thanking her for being so good
at work and with us, her officemates.

Happy 30th birthday Ms. Rizza!

=P

Your Maxicare family loves you!

p.s.
Our birthday celebrant is the sister of
the famous events specialist in
Davao City (The Occassions)--Ms. Florence Alejandre.
She still works part time as wedding coordinator
in her sister's business and hhmmm...
Just a random thought, okay?
I might be getting her as my WC when
wedding bells ring at my doorstep. Ssssshhh....Hahaha!

=P

Planes and Purpose

woooooh.....eeeeennngg....sssshhh....
eeennnggg.....ssshhhh....

Ooops. Sorry.
I can't put into words that specific sound
I hear every morning when I'm on my way to work
or sometimes, when I'm in BCC, one of my fave homes.

(photo not mine)

If you haven't guessed it yet, it's the sound of an airplane
having its way and preparing for landing.
The moment the sound waves transmit it to my ears,
I'm thrilled. You may not notice it, but I giggle inside.
Then my imagination takes me into a different time and place...
a familiar scene I even saw before---my future. =)

I believe in my heart that year 2012 is a year of
more travels for me, it ain't the same with 2011.
Expect that I'll be traveling more often
in Mindanao--like I always do.
Visayas won't be the least priority anymore since
I'm off to IloIlo this March,
Cebu by August and who knows, Boracay
and Bohol could also be part of my list.
International trips fit in my schedule so I won't
be around on my special day this coming May.
Macau and Hongkong are already preparing
a birthday bash for me, how can I refuse? Hehehe!
And never forget the getting bigger and
getting stronger National G12 Conference
in Manila this November. Sa mga suki na na naga-apil,
and first timers pa, I'm gonna see you there!

Check this out:
These trips aren't just plain and simple because
I fly not without a single purpose.
And I won't be traveling either if it isn't purposeful.
In line with this, please allow me to share my
devotional for this day:

2nd Corinthians 5:5

Now it is God who has made us for this
very purpose and has given us the Spirit as a deposit,
guaranteeing what is to come.

This Word has given me an assurance that
I can be more confident to spread my wings
and fly, up above that bluest sky.

Then you'll see me flying up higher...
and higher....
and HIGHER....

Of Work, Tasks, Dreams and Goals

I haven't done blogging for 2 days. Uuuyy.. you missed me!
Ahehehe. Hindi nga, you missed noh?

=P

Schedules are getting tighter lately and I can't even
imagine how busy I am being a daughter, sister
disciple, discpler, spiritual lowlah, employee,
co-worker and supervisor for Mindanao. Gosh.
Indeed, without God's grace I'd be sooo---dead.

#Thankful

Today, my partner is absent and I'm left all alone
doing reports, paperworks, phonecalls and emails.
Not to mention the much dreaded suspension we are
going through right now. Good thing, we're okay
with Dipolog Medical Center, suspension
was lifted yesterday. Yei! Salamat Lord. But one
hospital in Iligan is still tough and not willing to cooperate.

Hhhmmm....

And here's my lappy decorated with colorful post-it notes.
Hehehe. Actually, it's not there to make the laptop look good
(murag pangit man pud... =P )
but it's there to remind me of the things I need to accomplish
within the day, if not, the next day. Haaay.. Toxicity.

2nd Day Of January 2012

Readings:

Genesis 5-8, Psalm 106,
Proverbs 2, 1st Cor. 13-14

Message For Me Today Tidbits:

1st Cor. 13:4-8

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy,
it does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes,
always perseveres. Love never fails.

If I love something, I should be patient with it.
And if everything's getting out of control,
I should not be easily angered.
Patience Bek, patience...

Friends18.com Orkut Scraps

Today is the first working day of the year.
And much to my surprise, these 1st 8-office hours
blew its biggest BANG to Mindanao Medical Dept.

We had the first provider suspension of the year.

At may humabol pa.

Hhmmff...

And I was losing my patience. My heart never stopped
beating so fast the whole time and I was and am pressured until now.
I can imagine myself becoming like an ANGRY BIRD. Ha!
Then I suddenly remembered my devo for this day.
L-O-V-E.
"Diba you love your work?" Softly the Lord reminded me.
"So you should be patient with it. It may not be falling
into its place, but My grace is still sufficient for you."
My sweet Father added.
Oh yeah. Nasobraan ra ko ka- CholMel. Hehehe.
Now my angry-bird-level went down to level 0
from level 4 (scale of 1-5). Thank You Jesus.

Loving Patience,

1st Day Of January 2012

 Psalm 105:1-11

Give thanks to the LORD, call on His name;
make known among the nations what He has done.
Sing to Him, sing praise to Him;
tell of all His wonderful acts.
Glory in His holy name;
let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice.
Look to the LORD and His strength; seek His face always.
Remember the wonders He has done, His miracles,
and the judgments He pronounced,
O descendants of Abraham His servant,
O sons of Jacob, His chosen ones.
.  He is the LORD our God;
His judgments are in all the earth.
 He remembers His covenant forever,
the word He commanded, for a thousand generations,
the covenant He made with Abraham,
the oath He swore to Isaac.
He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree,
to Israel as an everlasting covenant:
"To you I will give the land of Canaan
as the portion you will inherit."

My devotional for the first day of the year.
God, I am ever so excited!
Now, who wouldn't be? =P

Anyway, after 4 days of being home,
my Ate Dok has to leave. =(
She has to report tomorrow for hospital duty.

I'm going to miss our sisterhood bonding....

And her cooking skills!
Awww...ingtaz ka sa biyahe, atiyahm...
I'm praying for you always. =)

By the way, today my tummy isn't cooperating well.
Among us four in the family, I was the most suki in the comfort room.
I went in and out of it for like 10 times right after eating dinner
last night until this afternoon. It seems like I'm loosing
electrolytes already and na-dedehydrate na yata ako.

I took 2 bottles of Gatorade to somehow gain
back the lost E-lytes. Nevertheless, this won't keep
me from doing the Lord's will. I'm still UNSTOPPABLE.

Happy January 1st To All Of You,
